'He felt that in the depth of his soul something was settling down, adjusting and composing itself' - Tolstoy, Anna Karenina
Hi! I'm Natasha. I'm 17 and currently enjoying a levels!
I've been writing since I was able to. I have about a million notebooks filled with messy stories and far from professional illustrations; my expression of self since forever. Writing has always been a passion; so vitally important for every part of me, specifically my happiness.
There is so much more to this blog than I could ever put into words. It will always be a collection of everything I have ever liked about myself. Every good thing about me is here, here in the words that I write and share.
Thank you reader for appreciating my work and taking time to read it! I am so grateful to you and I really hope you enjoy my work. Please do get in touch and tell me what you think - I would love to hear any thoughts!
I believe writing has a certain power; when I put feelings and seemingly indescribable phenomena into words I am filled with hope and happiness - an unmatched feeling. This is why writing is so important to me. I can suddenly explore even the deepest parts of my soul and just understand them, purely because I put words on a page.
What would mean the most to me, is if my words could impact someone in the way others' have impacted me. To know that I put a smile on even one persons face would make my day.
My writing has taken me to amazing places recently, being published in two anthologies and securing a place as a finalist in the prestigious Frank Moran young writer’s competition. Currently, I am very grateful to be receiving mentoring for my writing from published author John Gorman and I look forward to releasing an anthology for my 18th birthday in September!
