HEY EVERYONE 😁 i’ve written so much today it’s insane; one sunset and i’m handwriting 5 pages like an insane woman 😭

i’m cool with it tho :) it was all free verse which i’m not so sure i’ve really shared before. i’ll see when the time is to post it. i’m sure i’ll know.

anyway, here’s a short one - hence the name, which just triggers the prettiest images in my mind.

i like the sun on my face

and the way words have

colours

and music has sensation

i like the way the sound feels on

my skin;

i like the way the rain smells

i like that i’m getting better,

i like that i’m creating a sanctuary

within myself, so separate

to the maladaptive paracosms

i called home once

i like laughing and smiling.

i like my hair and my room,

and i like God and the Hand

holding mine.

i like life, i think.

i like love.
