Hello! Apologies for the slight break, I had my mock exams! I'm back on the grind now, starting off with this free verse that I wrote. It's different to what I normally do, but I like it. Hope you enjoy and have a mystical day <3
to feel. to be here, to be present, to know and to feel. to smell the smoke of the fire ignited within, and to hear the exhalation of the power of a single breath outward.
to feel. i cannot value anything as much as to feel. i exist for it; the searing pain and the terrifying hope, the aching happiness and the tearful endings. i exist solely to feel, to remind myself i am human .
to feel. i feel everything at once. i feel the silence of the peace, and the never ending abyss caving within me. i feel myself falling. and i revel in every goddamn moment of it.
the shear rawness, the exhilarating moment of true feeling; of knowing the gravity attaches you to the ground, and yet you could float away at any moment just because you feel. just because you feel.
you can take everything away from me, but you can never take away the way i feel. even in the abyss of my very worst pain - i felt.
to feel. i would give the world if everyone could feel in the way i feel. i don't feel with my head or my heart, i feel with my being. with every cell, every drop, every part of my body. every synapse, every corner, every inch of my soul. i feel everything with everything.
to feel. how precious.
